NCIT COMMUNICATIONS SUBCOMMITTEE
The Communications Subcommittee is designed to be a resource for all member organizations to provide a space for campaigns and messaging to be developed and shared amongst NCIT and its members. We want to amplify your campaigns and messaging. The CS also hopes to be a space where messaging experts can support each other in the development of core campaign messages. Together we can use the NCIT and its members to amplify the reach of your campaigns. Bring your campaigns, messaging, and ideas to the communications subcommittee to help ensure all babies thrive!

NCIT FAMILY AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PEER GROUP
The Family and Community Engagement Peer Group is focused on creating a space where parent engagement leaders and coordinators from across the country can learn from each other and share resources in order to be even more impactful. The goal of this group is to provide resources, tools, and success stories for parent engagement leaders/coordinators to move their organizations further along the continuum toward more authentic parent engagement and parent power sharing.

NCIT FEDERAL HUDDLE PEER GROUP
The Federal Huddle is for leaders who are looking ahead to the next two years and setting priorities for Executive Branch advocacy and Congressional advocacy. We’d love to streamline some of the federal-level information and asks made of advocates that primarily do their work at the local, state, and tribal levels by letting them know what the PN-3 advocacy movement leaders this is most important, why, and how they can help.

NCIT GRASSROOTS ADVOCACY SUBCOMMITTEE
NCIT Grassroots Advocacy Subcommittee is designed for grassroots organizers, advocates, and those looking to expand their grassroots efforts. Together, we will share knowledge about community outreach strategies, organizing, and digital advocacy. As we build our network of changemakers, members will be invited to seek advice from others, exchange ideas, share resources, and lend support for each other’s initiatives.

NCIT PEER GROUP FOR ADVOCATES WORKING IN CONSERVATIVE JURISDICTIONS
The Peer Group for Advocates Working in Conservative Jurisdictions has been meeting virtually for almost two years.  This group of advocates tackles PN-3 strategy questions unique to those working with conservative lawmakers to lift up best practices, identify threats, and more.  This group has also inspired resource development, including message research to inform ways to communicate with conservative lawmakers about PN-3 policy.

NCIT POLICY RESEARCH SUBCOMMITTEE
The Policy Research Subcommittee was created to bring together maternal health and early childhood policy researchers on a regular basis. The goal of this group is to inform equity-centered research and policy development, share research technical assistance, and identify policy research gaps on prenatal-to-three topics.
