NCIT Guidance for Engaging with Candidates Webinar

NCIT Guidance for Engaging with Candidates Webinar

May 29, 2024

The stakes of the upcoming 2024 election are high for parents, infants, toddlers, and families across the country. Prenatal to three issues – from child care, to paid leave, to maternal health, to head start, and more – are at an inflection point. As advocates in an election year, we must mobilize our members and those impacted by the policies we seek to change to engage candidates in a nonpartisan manner on prenatal to three issues so they know it’s a priority for their constituents. This toolkit provides tools and resources to navigate this election cycle as an advocate for expectant parents, infants, toddlers and their families.

The webinar aims to introduce the toolkit content to NCIT members and demonstrate how it can bolster their ability as 501(c)3 organizations to engage with candidates this cycle. During the webinar, the AHA and Voices for Healthy Kids teams, and any additional presenters will explain the value of nonpartisan engagement on PN-3 policies with candidates, how to engage effectively, and answer questions.
