Join us for a webinar that explains how advocates can leverage the Farm Bill to promote health equity for families and caregivers with young children. The Farm Bill is a comprehensive multi-year bill that addresses nutrition and agricultural policy issues. It is typically renewed every five years and is up for renewal in 2023!
Why should PN-3 leaders and advocates care about the Farm Bill? Well, for many reasons. But perhaps most importantly, it includes the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and other critical nutrition and feeding programs. SNAP, which is focused on households with the fewest resources to purchase food, reaches 41.5 million people, including almost 5 million children ages 0–4 years. Come learn what childcare providers, parents, business leaders, and other key prenatal-to-three advocates need to know about building equity into the Farm Bill for the greatest impact on pregnant persons, infants and toddlers.
